Woo Hoo this is good! I do not know if I can catch that many fish at that time of year. I have been stopping fishing Dec 1 to Feb 1, due to poor results.Hmmmm may need to give try again. You know global warming and all that stuff may have changed the river??

I asked Dennis this morning and he said probably $20-$25. He was mostly interested in seeing if there was even any interest in a tourney.
I fished this morning for about 3.5 hours and caught about a dozen mostly in the 10 inch range. Three were about 11 1/2 inches.
The water was very low and most fish were caught in 9 foot off the bottom.
The outside temp was 34 starting off and the water temp was about 50.
There were a few tight liners out there. I heard them say they caught a few.

I did get out Sunday morning and had 10 keepers which I released at the ramp. I saw Brad and his son Dr pete on the water. the bite was a little slow. I did see one other boat out there a blue tracker. Was that you?

Thanks for the interest. Here is what we posted on bobsfishinghole.com 'Tournament Information' page. CRAPPIE TOURNAMENT 12-7-14 8AM TO 2PM.. $20.00 PER PERSON ENTRY FEE (ramp fee not included). 8 FISH LIMIT , $5 BIG FISH INCLUDED $15 goes to total weight winner. paying one place for every 5 anglers up to 3 places only. Up to max. 3 anglers per boat. If you have no live well, may bring them in on ice. Live or artificial bait. Boat check before entering water. There have been a couple of men interested in fish fry after tourney. ANY VOLUNTEERS? ... This is crappie only for this event. If it goes well then we will add division for yellow perch. Only a few yellows showing up. We reserved the right to 'tweak' this 1st tourney, but want to set it stone. That is why I am hoping you all will look at this post and get back to me on any flaws I may have in starting crappie tourneys at Bobs. Thanks again for your interest . Dennis

    Dennis,

Is there a minimum number of entries for this to make it happen?
