Two questions
What's the status of the Lake Whitehurst ramp, I saw a while back one of the city council members claiming he had helped raise a bunch of money for it ?
What's the condition of the ramp on the Little Creek Reservoir, heard it's not usable.
I'm a few years from retiring and sure would like to relive some childhood memories when I do retire!

I have nothing new on Lake Whitehurst. The last I heard there were discussions with Dominion Power to use the lot at the corner of Heutte and Shore Drive, but that will have to wait until they are done with their work. As for Little Creek, we put in twice a week, so it is usable. And Lake Smith reopened on Friday with fantastic facilities for launching and shore fishing.

I drove by there a couple of weeks ago & it really does look great! Will all the other reservoirs get the same treatment?

Lake Smith was a Virginia Beach project under their Open Space program. This program was started and funded with the goal of creating more parks in under-served burroughs.
