    Default pembroke 7/30

Fished from 3 till 7. Caught 15 crappie, 1 white perch, 1 yellow perch, and a Catfish and Pumpkinseed. Bluegrass caught them all today. Wish I could have gotten out earlier. Would have had limit quick. Bite slowed after 4. Good to get out again. Tomorrow, back to deer hunting.CF

working them depredation permits? - bust them does! too dang many of em! bet the ratio round here 10-12 to 1 - probly way worse in them ag. flatlands - never figured why guys round here rather shoot a yearling buck than a doe
My wife swears I only do enough surveying to support my hunting & fishing because I'm too busy hunting & fishing !

Glad you got out. Were you on the usual summer spot? Good catch considering the weather. I haven't been out in several weeks; the wife has had another close call, and has been in the hospital. I was pretty worried for the first ten days. She is in rehab now in Washington and I hope to have her home in a few more days. It will be some time before I get out. If she does well, I may be able to get a few hours to go while someone is with her.
