Rest in peace Jeff.
Sorry to hear......prayers for the family
Always enjoyed reading his posts. I would like to have met him.
STILL SO YOUNG TOO .... shoulda been around another 20 years , he worked on my horses feet the whole time I knew him , every time I went crappie fishing with him he would ask several times " hey you wanna hit this " and he was in the back of the boat smoking pot more than he was fishing, he was out thee for sure - but then again that's why he N me got along so well - being as complex as I am .... he would spend 2 or 3 hours fishing in my pond out back when ever he came to do the horses feet -

Never met Shoer but read many of his posts...What a character ! Obviously an original one of a kind individual. May he be at peace and with the Lord above . FB
This is very sad news. I don't get on here very often, but Jeff was one of the first people to welcome me aboard and befriend me when I first joined the forum. I never got to meet him, but it would have been my honor to do so.
R.I.P. Jeff! May God be with you and lead you to well stocked waters and bountiful Gardens on the other side!

Very sad news indeed,
The Shoer I remember was sure enough out spoken!
When I finally met him he greeted me with a hand shake, embrace, and smile.
He once posted a picture of a mason Jar full of pickled Crappie :yikes but it intrigued me want to make some LOL, he always seem to have something going on..
Thats the Jeff I remember.
R.I.P.
