longwood landing on hwy 15 is 1 of my favorites & lot of good spots outa there you can reach w/ 10hp- left or right out of landing good fishing-if you go right then keep bearing right into a big cove with campground on right- it go's way back in there to an airstrip - lota good fishing there within easy reach 10 hp - good luck let us know how you do!

Rudds and Butchers is perfect for a small engine. Launch at Rudds Creek on 58 east of clarksville. You have acess to 2 bridges and 2 great creeks. Couldnt really go wrong with Longwood either.

    UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE

Heres my report of my trip to Buggs Island with a 9.9hp

Friday: I put in at Bluestone, water was muddy. Pulled up to first dock and caught a 1.11 pound--15 inch crappie. HOTDOGGGGG Ok its on!! Third cast broke my shimano $90 rod in half, lucky I have a lifetime warranty on it. But Im still hottttt. I ended up catching 6 fish off 2 docks out of fishing at least 50!!!!

Saturday: I put in at Grassy Creek, the water was not as muddy. OK I rode a hour to the first spot and caught a catfish. I kept going ended up just catching 6 crappie and 2 catfish.

My goal was 10 fish, so I made that, I think im going to upgrade to a 60hp on my boat. I did see FishDoc put I could not catch you in my 9.9hp LOL>

    Thanks,
