off the james into the creeks we go...3' to 5' of water lot of males and a few big girls,,,,, Its a moon thing, water 48,, at best fish are there,, fish a cork n jig or minnow and multiple rods at a time ...they in the grass waiting the females about to bust ....its slow at best but well worth the effort

right going into the chick off the James ......I knew they had to be there just unhappy with water temps.. I live on Lake Anna but have rentals in Williamsburg,so when down I drag a boat...the James and its tributaries one being the chick have the best 13" TO 16" CLASS of fish in the state

real close anyhow<<<<<<<<< Anna got the trophy fish but all the creeks off the James have good fish...my daughter has finished school at W&M so our townhouse in the burg we call it has been sold to another proud W&M parents. Thats gonna put a few minnows back in the tank.. I highly recommend this approach with at least 3 bedrooms and let them pick their roomies thats the
only monies you will recover..and I will be fishing out next week off the James very thoroughly and will report . Then back to Anna with the grand kids from my sons, burning up the flats and structure where the bigguns are...It's gonna be a good week I really believe this .........

My wife and I wanted desperately to get out this weekend and try out the Chick. With all the rain and winds, all we could do was want. So we spent some time making sure our gear is ready to go when the weather decides to cooperate. Hopefully we will see you there next weekend. THANKS
