I only spent 2 hours at Lake Prince as there were just a few spots I wanted to check out and all I could nab was this 1lb 4oz crappie that was 15' down amongst a school of gar. (I can tell from side imaging) Notice how thick the school is on my fish finder.
I then went to Burnt Mills and could only find 4 crappie hanging out on the bottom in deep water. Water temp was 42 at both lakes and I only saw it as high as 43 in the back of a cove right before I left around 4:00.

Between honey dos and wanting to repack trailer bearings I am dry docked for now. But very glad you was out George. Will be heading to Kerr next weekend.

Crappie fishing is like many other sports, if you don't work out regularly you get rusty. With all this roller-coaster weather, nothing is certain. At least what you caught were respectable fish. Better days are just around the corner - - - - I hope. B-
