    Default Saturday with my son


    Fighting the crowds in a popular hole produces a catch of 23. WT 48. What a difference a week makes. Ice &36*WT last week. Jigs were the ticket, saw minnows producing for others but have decided to learn to better my jig fishing skills. Blaze orange head/chartreuse skirt was choice for the day. Saw a FEW ringers, they should be in soon. Lot of people looking for them.

    Thanks for report. I love to fish with my dad. But he doesnt like to deal with the cold as much. He waits til spring. I think it will be here soon. Hopefully.

    Its got to be wonderful to be out on the water with your son. My dad never wanted to be outdoors, fishing, camping. Learned on my own and with the help of adults being in boy scouts. Nice catch.
