    Default Piscataway 2/23

Was going to fish Aylett, but the water was too stained and high so we kept going and hit the Piscataway. A very pretty river. It was cleaner than the Mattaponi but was still stained. Ended up with a few crappie, several blue cats and a 17" striper. No coon perch, which is what we were after. Water temp was 48 degrees, fishing in 14 FOW. Some on minnows and some on small jigs and sliders. Biggest crappie was 10"
