Bash Travel?

I think I am pulling out of this one. I hate it but they are calling for the peak of the rain around 11am. No getting around it. sounds like it will rain the entire time the bash is going with winds with gust to 30 out of the NW. I really look forward to this Bash every year and hate to miss it. Don't want to drive an hour and ten minutes just to get my tail soaked and go home. Looks like Sunday will be the better day and I may go somewhere around home. Hope You guys that do go have a good time. I will be ill as all get out if the rain does not show up like they are saying but I hope it doesn't for those who attend. It's only a 31 mile drive for me so I will be there. If the weather gets too bad I will quit but I figure on getting in at least 4 hours of fishing.

I'll be there in the morning. Winds don't look like they will get too bad until the afternoon. Will have the rain gear on though.

It's pouring here in Wake Forest. I made the right decision.

Well Farmer, looks like we get to watch from the stands. How big do ya thing the winning perch is gonna be?

I got in 5 hours of fishing and only had 4 small crappie to show for it. The rain had picked up and the winds were picking up as well and since I just don't have the same passion for fishing since my wife passed I left around 1:00.
