Yes, it was cold, windy, and spitting snow this morning--but I hated to leave the fish biting yesterday afternoon. A few fish stayed where I left them, but most had moved on. (You shoudda been here yesterday!) Soon, I did the same.
Slightly deeper water (14' to 16') worked better today, but 5 hours of fishing only produced 13, and only 4 of them were a keepable size. The largest was just over 13".
Other species were more active today. In addition to lots of chains, there were several of these (up to 12.25"):

Charlie- Let's hope she simply spawns out! I tossed her back to grow up.
Looks like dinner to me!
Thanks for the report Corker. Might have to take a day off work if the weather holds out if not then Sunday looks good.
Nice striper and bass. I know it had to be a ton of fun on those telescope poles. WTG
When you're using fixed line poles, you have to give the fish plenty of time to wear itself out & hope it doesn't decide to make a long run. The biggest fish I've landed with one of those 14' Skeeter Poles was a 13.25 lb. gar.
