    Default Buggs

Thought I would post here in VA too. Hey guys I'm looking for a little help planning a trip in early spring to Buggs. I'm looking for a place to stay possibly 3/4 nights either on the lake or close drive. Not exactly sure what area of the lake I plan to fish. I fished it one weekend several years ago. I stayed in motel in Clarksville. I launched at a couple different places but did the best in beaver creek. I would prefer a house/cabin but it doesn't have to be fancy. Just need need access to power for charging up batteries and such. If anyone has any recommendations on a fisherman-friendly place to stay that wont break the bank let me know. Thanks, Daniel

I always stay here http://www.kerrlake.com/cottages/ when I go over there for any length of time. Its only a few miles from the ramp on Buffalo Creek.

the COE has cabins for rent at Occeneechee camp ground. Several of my clents have stay and all had great things to say about them. everything is furnished, they have 1, 2, 3, an 4 bedrooms. the last clients that stayed at Little Retreat said it needed a lot of repair work, had not been kept up.

Thanks guys, I will look into that. Fishdoc, I thought about staying in those in the State Park. Do you know if the cabins are located on the main lake or in butchers or Landhandle creek? Thanks

Just for anyone's info, Occoneechee is a state park not a COE. Our COE old folks pass isn't any good there, but VA residents do get a small discount.
