Thread: Smith Mntn Lake today

We had to plow the boat through some ice to get to the sunny side of the horseshoe bend in the blackwater end, but we got a couple nice ones. About 16 fow and only about 8 or 9 ft deep, water temp at surface was 47. Caught both of these between a couple dock posts that were about 3" apart, tucked down in the middle...never even felt a bite or a wiggle just thought I was hauling up a heavy stick. Lol. All the fish were caught on bright lemon yellow curly tails.
