    Default Cohoon & BM

Friday Cohoon / Sunday BM Windy both days but it was good to get back on the water again.... (Shoulder rotator injure & trailer re-wiring issue)
Ended up with a total of maybe 20 fish with 11 brought home, most were right around 10-11 inches, I used jigs tipped with nibbles, or minnows... pretty even bites on both, I'm leaning more and more toward going minnow-less....
I brought 3 doz Friday and Sunday dumped a large amount back....

below are a couple pictures from BM, Cohoon got the better of me 0 keepers

All the usual spots didn't produce but in deep water I finally found crappie, water temp touched 50 degrees briefly but stayed mostly around 48 Sunday, a couple shots below.
I didn't use any specific color even used yellow buck-tail hair jig with nibblet and caught some

Also I had to back down quite a ways to launch in BM, water level was lower than expected, Cohoon wasn't bad

Dean my supply was dangerously low I contemplated downsizing my quality limit to 9 1/2 LOL

Bennett I bet your correct, I'm normally conscious of which bait is better what color is getting more action etc.. in the back of my mind I'm also thinking I'll get on the water and somebody will be wearing them out with MINNOWS LOL

But I can't recall that happening lately, I think I read a thread a bit back and Corker was doing well on jigs I almost lost my coffee! , it's less hassle using jigs anyways I think.
On Sunday I also brought a bucket of red wigglers hoping to get into some Shell Crackers but no luck....

They were tipped with minnows, however.
