    Default 11 today+1 5lb bas

Went out in the yak again for an afternoon trip. Nothing over 12" but one bass that took me for a ride. I was using a 13' telescopic rod with 4lb test line. My first reaction was that I had caught a catfish. But it finally came to the surface and rolled, got it to the side and lipped it into the yak and the hook fell out of its mouth. All on minnows even though I threw several different types of jigs.Name: 20131216_165603.jpg

Alright, Wooduck, now my neck hurts. Turn the camera sideways next time! Pretty picture of the finest river in the state, none the less.

-Not hittin' jigs, eh? I'm too cheap to buy minnows. I might have to put the boat back in this weekend, blade baits should be working right about now. Maybe I will see you out there.

Thanks for the report. Stay Safe.

I don't know why but I always do better on jigs when fishing the chick. I have found I do not need minnows. Been reading your reports. great job!!!!!
