    Default James River Sunday.......150+

.......minnows. I ask the kid for 5 dozen. I'm looking around while he dips them. He puts them in my cooler...I pay and away I go. When I took the lid off at my first spot, I have minnows already gasping for breath. The way he counts, I like to have him turn a 5 dollar bill into quarters for me. Cheese and Rice dude. I've purchased 10 dozen before and there were more than that in there. I didn't get to the river until about 1pm, so there was no way I was using all those little buggers. So into the river they went. Some thing will eat them.

Oh yea, we caught a couple dozen crappie. Some nice, chunky 12 and 13" fish. One seriously fatty caught by my BIL Shawn. I was saying 14" when I saw it. Placed it on rule....12 even. Man, it was spring time fat. Guess it has good genetics. All were returned for someone else to kill.

See you guys Saturday. Bring my $5 please.

IKG2009, I have seen TapOut64 Fish. I have fished along beside him with my boat in several Bashes. If he says he caught that many fish, then I believe him. He can catch more fish with one rod than I can with 8 rods spider rigging. he is also the type of person that if You befriend him will teach You a lot to help You get Your numbers up. I don't think You would have to worry about that with Your attitude here now. As a matter of fact, You have only made 4 post and they all have been negative.

So If all You can do is talk a bunch of Guff, take it somewhere else. We don't need Your crap here. CF

Where do you go to get such a good deal on minnows? 2 things to think about, have a large bucket or tub with a cheap aerator for leftover live minnows. They will keep good now that its cold. Keep them fed with cheap goldfish food and they will live through the winter/cold months. As far as the dead ones go, grind them up and freeze them with a string for chum. Ive done this in the past with good results when I anchor-up and sit in one place.
