1/32 in deep water is slow fishing! Been there... cast count to 15-20 slow retrieve..George that is when those craftfur jigs work best, hopefully Russell will chime in... He knows the deal.

I fish every weekend unless there is an ice storm or lightening so I headed out to Suffolk today and tried my best, and while I managed 37 crappie, most were around 9". Having been 79 yesterday and north winds today gusting to 17 didn't help. I really couldn't establish any kind of pattern. My first crappie was 11" and came right up to the surface to hit my jig but it was the only decent one. Most were caught 8'-12' down in deep water. I had to switch up to 1/32oz and had most my luck with a small pearl BGBS imitation jig. I showed surface water temp at 50.

I knew someone would make it out fishing today! I would have been out there with you but with boat repairs and having to redo our rental house before Christmas. To have it ready to rent before the new year. Glad you got to catch a few. I knew it would be tuff after this major cold front. Great try George!!!!!!!!
Who cares???!!!
Looks like you have a fan George!!! Don't sink to there level.
Haters... smh
