Half day at the Chick

Caught some nice crappie at the Chick this morning, no where near what Tap did yesterday but I had some fun. The first 25 came on every color but blue ice than the last 6 all came on blue ice, go figure. All were caught tight lining in 13' to 20', 10' down. No big fish just a nice mess of 10" to 13" fish.

Nice report. I saw you picking them up pretty good. I was across from you on the other side vertical jigging in 14-18 FOW. I picked up 13 with only 4 between 11-12.5". All on money jig and chartr slider near the bottom. 2 decent bream as well. I only fished for 2 hours and missed many more, but I'm getting better. Nice pics.

I did catch 3 casting an acid rain twister tail but there were so many weeds floating I was too busy cleaning lines.

What kind of boat were you in, there were several boats in that area ?

WTG, the fish were certainly cooperating yesterday. I ended up with 16 keepers most were caught after you left. Had to cull out a lot of little fish, probably a 5-1 ratio. A beautiful day to spend on the water.
