Big cat
I caught this 40 to 50lb cat fish today while crappie fishing. I had a hard time holding it on 6lb test and an 8' rod. It took me about 20 minutes to ware it down so I could get a few pic's, I was by myself so it was a choir. Also caught 35 nice size crappie. Fish fry at my house on Friday. Every thing on jigs in 8' to 13'. Best color today was black/blue with a chartreuse tail.
Pic's are not very clear but the best I could do.

I'm sorry you had to spend all that time battling that inferior species. Imagine how many crappie you could have caught during that time.

That smokes me on big catfish. Like you I was bream fishing when I caught mine on a jig. I thought you were going s/t fishing down this way. Give me a holler before the weekend.

Thats a good one. Where was it caught. My best was a 48 lber but not crappie fishing.
