Went out with the wife and our new kayaks this afternoon. She wanted to paddle around but i was focused on fishin. Yesterday I went there with the intention of taking some drawdown pics and took a pole with me just for kicks. Ended up catching just one but it was 13". It fell victim to a BG ice blue baby shad on a 1/48 oz head. So I decided to go back today with minnows. Ended up with 11 keepers/6 throwbacks. All keeper fish 11" to 14 1/4" and lost one at the boat that was bigger than the one landed.no electronics for the yak as of now, but seemed to get the bite around 6-7' in the deeper water.
Nice job, thanks!

I saw how low the lake was when I passed it on 64 the other day. One major advantage of a kayak, you can put it no matter how low it gets. Nice 14" crappie, it's been a while since I've caught one that big.

Nice fish, can't wait to see you spider rig off of that boat.
What type yak is that?
I'm buying one in feb... leaning to the WS Ride 135
