Default Saturday, Lake Prince, 44 crappie, most small.

Well, I gave Lake Prince a try with the hope of catching bigger crappie than I did last week at a different lake and the the average size turned out to be smaller. I had to work hard to get the 44 I caught with most hitting a pearl BGBS around 13' down in deep water or a chartreuse/pearl wasshoppah 20' down also in deep water. My biggest was only 15oz and most were around 9".

I found this 5lb 12oz green carp hanging with the crappie 20' down as well.

Once again, it was safe from all of the bass fishermen working the shore line.

The weather was down right perfect for late summer. Water temp was 78-81. Now to decide where I will be fishing next weekend.

Still was a good catch and you got some pull-age.

Always fun to catch a big fish no matter what kind.

Looks like you can find at least some wherever you fish. I've only fished Prince a couple of times and didn't knock 'em dead.
