Size:  72.2 KBPut in at longwood boat ramp, stayed in grassy creek all day, best bite was b.p. in 1o too 16 fow, water temp. was 76 when I put in 80 when I left, bite was good all day long ,every b.p. that I fished had fish on them, water was clear,most were caught on blue ice, this is one of 85 or so that caught.

    Would like too no what these might be, there were lots of them floating in lake. almost like a grassy shrimp.

    Slsbin, looks like you had a good day,IMO Grassy is the best creek in that lake on a year round basic.

    Thank you, gonna give it another try fish, camping at Longwood this w.e. hope too get too the rivers, any fish on the hump at Buffalo.

    Slsbin,this has been a bad year for me ,I probably been less this year than any year I know of ,but at this time of year the river at Buff should be good,have not been in a long time.

    those are the nymph cases that the Mayflys emerge from. there were mats of them in the main lake tween Buffalo an Bluestone Mon. and, yes, there are crappie in that area. we caught them off brush, rock piles an stumps on the humps. had 20 nice keepers, biggest about a pound, usin bucktails.
