Lake Mead today 1st try

[Flatwater]

It took me 3 tries to get to the ramp, it is just steep enough that I cannot see it backing down until the boat is in the water. I went idle all the way past the 2 bridges, tried the stump field, then some lay downs, Picked up a nice 12 inch crappie 1 bass and 1 perch, had to leave by 10 so I did not fish to long. Lake looks real good. Undecided where to fish tomorrow????

when I bought my boat I made sure my trailer tongue was long enough I could drop my tailgate without problems... Helps a lot. If you drive an SUV try lifting the back hatch until you get close to the water. I usually have best luck from the 58 bridge back.. I've caught em in the front half but never as big. See ya tommorrow
