    Default walleye trip

Well leaddog and i went with the fishdoc this weekend to lake philpott and this is what we did. The conditions were right after a front just moved through and i thought it would be real tough fishing but with the docs knowledge and experience we tried a couple different techniques and found the one they wanted. We ended up with 23 being caught and 11 keepers over 18". I was lucky enough to catch a 6 lb citation , a 20" tagged walleye and also a native rainbow trout. Thats right doc he had pinkish-orange fillets. This was an awsome trip and we all had a great time and you will not find many places on this earth as beautiful as the lake. I would reccomend this trip to anyone.Name: Kendals pictures off razr018.jpg

Very nice. If they are going to bite somewhere Fishdoc will find them.

Val Jr. the solo picture does that fish justice, It was huge and we all could take a deep breathe after it was in the boat. That fish was trying to go back were it came from when it seen the boat, I am just as proud of that fish as I had caught it. I believe Fish Doc was proud too, but he would not admit it. He is the man, and I do not care what type of fish it is if it swims he can catch it. Its funny how a 12" fish kind of saved the day. Any body looking a great fishing trip this is it. Val you have to mount it. I know you are a great fisherman and you have taught me a lot , I am going with Keith on this one you have a lot of luck too, with your great skills. Thanks, Fish Doc again for a great memory.

Thanks for the compliments, Gentlemen! I enjoy takin y'all fishin, its a blast! We caught our fish Fri by bottom bouncin spinners with crawlers. after two hours doin the same Sat morn, with no fish, I said its time to change. with the front that passed thru, I figured they had suspended. We switched to leadcore trollin open water an finally found a very produtive area. Val, I'd eat that biggun an get a fiberglass replica!!! Lookin forward to seein ya next time, LD!!
