Not sure if the mods will move this thread. But any stable 12-14 sit on top should do fine. I have this model and its perfect for fishing the shallows and flats.

Definitely in wrong spot for that kind of info. I would recommend Tidal.fish and VA outdoors.
I still have - 10', 12' and a 17'(pokeboat) " for kayaks. But, Sold my 14' fishing " Ocean" kayak . it was the Best fishing kayak I have owned. And its still used in same waters around here. My Pokeboat is VERY stable and allows for ALOT of gear/coolers and dog to be carried with some safety. It also can be paddled thru very shallow waters, Sometimes not much more than wet grass! But is not as safe in waves and the Ocean (brand) Kayaks are.. A good paddle makes a lot of difference also and can make learning a lot easier. You are doing right thing, do some research...
