Hit Buggs today ,first time since Bash

We started fishing at 8:30 this morning,I decided to run all way to back and start there since I had not been here for a long time. Well the first place I stop at I caught 2 nice ones ,a 12 plus and a 13 plus,I though I had made the right decision but at 2:30 only caught 12 fish and 6 of them were dinks and I mean dinks. We had only work about a mile for those fish,told wife I was not seeing any on SI except a few little ones so with not much more time to fish I said let's go to other end of creek because I though they might be some up there. Well good move but many hours too late . We caught 45 in the time left making a total of 57, was going to make it 60 but in 3shots she hung and broke 3 jigs so I said let's go,the wind was tough making it hard to shoot and if bait hit water it would bounce and hang on the under side of docks and one dock we was shooting was only 1 & 1/2 inch off of water. She got big fish of day with a 14&1/4 not a real big one but they were hard to find,we had a few 12-13 but most were 10-11 inch, we threw all back. Have pic of her fish but it won,t come on here but am trying, still can,t get it to come up

Nice ones Gene, I plan on going this afternoon after work, and again on Sunday. I will let you know how I did, Rudds/Butchers will be the target !!

Vic,2/3 of the day was bad even told wife to at lease enjoy it and she did ,got in back and laid down and down east 75 was at Grassy.

we tried Butchers Tues. caught a bunch of dinks from brush, only keepers we caught were on docks. had 2 @ 13 an 14 inches. fished Grassy Wed. nuthin on brush but caught 10 from 12 -15 inches off docks, but it was one here an one there. hope this hot weather bunches'em up better! Glad to hear ya gettin back out, Gene!

Thanks guys,got news now that they are going to give me Harmon shots for 4 months instead of 2 months then radiation for 2 months, we had made camping for Sept and Oct ,now we will have to cancel them also

Glad too see both of you got out and caught some fish. Sounds like the fish have moved out from the far back of the creek, I know it is hard to keep up with them when you don't get to go too often. Good report, hopefully you can get out again soon.

Good report Gene glad to see your back at it, I know what the shingle can do, I had them last year, I'm planning on going to Buggs Wed, if the plan comes together.
