Would be great to have place that close!! Lake Anna is @1hr from Richmond home... from Deltaville place , BDR is only 25min , Chick and Diascund, LCR @45/50min --but SW-fishing is only 15 sec golf cart ride to boat slip![]()
I heard about the closing (May 1) and wrote the city. They responded with:
"I spoke with the Lead Project Designer this morning and due to some unforeseen issues all bids are scheduled to open on April 29th. I would imagine it wouldn't close for another 45 days or so."
It is supposed to remain closed for at least 12 months. I wouldn't expect it close until mid to late May.

Mr. Neel - there is nothing to report on a ramp for Lake Whitehurst and I have no control over the Botanical Garden.

Mr. Neel – City Council placed money in the budget to develop a boat ramp but I have no information on where it may be located.
