Had a great half day of catching fish with my son. We started out early and by noon we were headed off the water. Windy and cold all morning, cleared off around noon but we were headed home. Caught a lot of different species of fish, crappie, brim, green carp, yellow perch, white perch, pickerel, gar, bowfin. Had none stop action all morning. All fish were caught on jigs and jigs tipped with minnows. I haven't fished with minnows in almost 2 years but given the area I was fishing I had a hard time tight lining, so decided to fish with corks. The water temps were 68 to 70 and very clear. With all the rain Friday night I figured the water would be very cloudy but not the case. In all we caught over 100 fish with most of them being crappie, No big slabs but some nice 12's and 13's. No pic's this time, forgot the camera in the car.
