They biting, right now, go fishing. I had a whole week off and we slayed em on every Central Virginia lake we tried. We set on shoreline brushpiles and caught them unitl we got tired of it. Kalins grubs mostly, baby shads too. Long lined creek mouths and caught more. Did not even keep count but Kenny had one over two, my biggest was 14 inches but plenty of them. Greenies were hot too, jerk baits and flukes. My best fish for the week was a 4 lb citation chain pickerel on a fluke, Saw water temps from mid 60's to 72. Saw bedding bass right next to the crappies. Was a great week. Threw every single one back, not in a fish cleaning mood after multiple 10 hour days on the water. Never used a single minner all week either but went through bags of grubs. Color did not matter to the fish. Now get out and catch some.
