It seemed that I caught a lot more yellow perch and pike there prior to it's closing. Sounds like they are back, nice job.

Fished mostly the lower end of the lake, fished in shallow water everywhere I went. In that cove where I caught the biggest ring perch, I also caught the big pike and not far from there is where I caught the 8, 5 bass Saturday. Sorry, no pictures of the big perch. Didn't think much of it at the time. Later in the day I had one even bigger follow my bait right up to the boat and turn away as I lifted it out of the water.Attachment 122927 Mike (sorry, after posting, I realized you couldn't see what I put on the map. Mike I have caught alot of big yellow perch in that same area. My biggest have come from out by the dam though.
I fished that same cove sunday with no hits. I guess the crappie gods are mad at some of us this year. thanks for the info Mike
