    Default Suffolk Lakes 3/1

Boy, the weatherman can't seem to get his sh** together. All prepared to have a nice day with winds 5-10 NW and mostly sunny giving way to partly cloudy later in the afternoon with a high of 52. HAHAHAHAHA! Never got above 46 where I was, the sun came out for about 20 minutes around 0900 and the wind howled continuously all day.

That said, me and my buddy boated 74 (48 and 26). All on the bottom, some jigging slowly and some tightlining tube jig and nibble. WT high for us was 44.5.
Nothing over 12" and only a few that big, the rest 9-11".

Catching fish is WAY better than working outside on a day like today, I never saw 5 minutes of sunshine!

Sad, the weather forecasters lure you out to what you are led to beleive should be nice only to be left freezing in gale force winds.Lord only knows the horrible conditions I've been suckered into.Still glad to see your good luck.I say we round up the weather gurus and torture them until they provide more favorable conditions.

Like that? Dang things might kill me, but I love 'em. If you see me on the water, I'll probably have one lit up. Might have one for you too.
