    Default first day on Floridas waters


    My wife and I had a great day today fishing two different lakes. We started out on lake Dora and fished there for 4 hours and caught 8 real nice fish. We pulled the boat out at noon and headed to lake Monroe for the afternoon bite. We landed 15 or so there with some real nice fish in that group also. The weather was a beautiful 77 degrees and fishing in a tee shirt and shorts felt good. All fish were caught on jigs and jigs tipped with niblet's and some with minnows. Some long lining but most tight lining in 8' to 10' FOW.

    Wtg vic and eileen, looks like you'll are enjoying that weather and fishing also, find plenty for me and roy also,lol ,tomorrow i plan on going to buggs, highs 42 ,think about us as you enjoy that warm weather, if i wear shorts tomorrow it will be way under my jumpsuit,lol.
