crappycrazie, horseshoer and quite a few other folks left CDC, it had to do with the Va. board and alot of the posts being too saucy for a family site. they went to another board where they could talk like they wanted, I think slab knows where they went, but I can't remember.

my buddy slabenomics used to tell tales of the shoer....never met the fella but he also told me he tried to contact him and his phone numbers no longer work....we were going to take his yankee butt out in the blue water but couldn't find him...

I saw and talked to shoer a few weeks ago at the chick. He was fishing out of his boat with another fellow. Looks like he lost weight and looked good.

He was a good dude - I enjoyed meeting him several times and talking to him online as well. I hate that things ended the way they did. Seemed like he had some personal demons to conquer and hopefully he did. Things turned real ugly at the end - I won't forget some of the things that were said to Dayton and I don't even know Dayton personally!

Anyways - I like to think that wasn't the real him. He helped me out a lot and took time to chat with me online when most of my posts were going ignored.

Not to dredge up old memories, but can someone summarize what happened in a nutshell? I wasn't around here then. I remember a whole group of crappie and perch guys arriving on another forum I sometimes read. I presume that was the group from this va board. Curious what happened? You guys sure don't seem like mean folks that would run people off. Pm me if its not worth bringing up again. Thx
