Buggs 12-14-12,tough day that turn out fair

Rudds ramp was close so we went to grassy,could not find many,had only 7 till nearly 2 pm,did not know many deep bp in grassy for such low water,so went to rudds,still could not find them,so friend wanted to see how pvc would show up on si that i just got back, we had look at it last year with camera under water in 30 feet of water. I told him that it probably would not show up on si,to my surprise we counted one pipe straight up and at lease 6 cross ways like a tree,and as we were looking i saw a school of crappies near rock bluff ,we fish for them and they would move around a school of shad that would move back and forth around a bp,we catch a few then move over see them again on other side,continue till we caught 60,then i said we had better head back to grassy creek landing and not take a chance of something going wrong since i had just had lower unit welded 2 days ago.they were all nice fish from 10 -14 inches,all fish was throwed back, saw fishdoc and he was doing good with fish

good report gene!!! i sure hope the water levels come up before i go this feb. most of the places i fish are out of the water now. hope yall have a great trip with vic in florida this winter.

Running around on that reservoir with the water as low as it is makes me nervous. Glad you finally found them. How long before all the ramps are closed?
