    Default Caught a few more...................

Fished Thursday, Sat and Sun again. I could get used to week day fishing, come on retirement. Same pattern, medium minners fished deep, 18-25 feet, good bite until about 12 noon, then they swim somewhere else and I'm still looking. We did caught a couple in 8-10 feet water later in the day. Again they spit up baby bluegills. I picked up a few in the deepest water, vertical jigging a silver buddy. Just learning how to fish that thing and I like it. Tried them for years and never caught anything on one, I was not doing it right. Can't wait for some 40 degree water. Catching a wide variety of fish, LM, SM, pickerel, YP and crappie. No great big ones but we are having fun. Sunday I was by myself, picked up 5 fish in 10 minutes, including one citation, then nothing for a couple of hours. water temps 45-50, the fish don't know what the heck to do, they think is spring is here. Threw most of them back, I've cleaned enough. Going again this Thurday, have family thing on Sat but will be out again Sunday. Good luck if you get to go.
