6 days, 333 crappie and 2 citations.
Sadly today was my last day of vacation but I did fish 6 of the last 7 days and ended up catching 53 today for a grand total of 333 crappie. My two citations went 2lb 1oz and 2lb 3oz.
I fished Buggs once and all 5 of the Suffolk Lakes, finishing up at Burnt Mills today where I had the entire lake to myself. After catching so many 7" and 8" crappie recently the 10" crappie today felt like monsters. Hardly any today casting (pearl BGBS when I did get one) most were caught vertical jigging a pearl/chartreuse and solid chartreuse wasshoppah tipped with a pink crappie nibble 14' to 16' down in water 15'-18' deep. I set a personal record for most crappie caught in a month with 501 in 9 trips during November. 20 of these were 1lb plus with 3 citations. (one 15"er in addition to the two above)
A two day work week for me then I will head out to Buggs bright and early Saturday morning.

In Virginia you can get a citation (certificate) if you catch a crappie that is 15" or 2lbs.Originally Posted by RetiredRR

WTG ,nice catch, plan to go to Buggs Friday,this month, I been 3 times to buggs and 0ne time to Gaston, caught 265 with one 16,four 15 and another 14and 3/4, if I get to go will let know how and where.
