well this will be my last report on these bodies of water for awhile. i have had a lot of fun fishing and learning a new body of water. had a chance to meet leaddog yesterday and did a lot of talking on the water. hey dean where did you fish at yesterday. i never saw you after you left the ramp. as far as a fishing report go's i tryed some of the places i had been catching fish and put a mess in the cooler and decided to try new places. i strated following the creek channel and when i would cross a long point i would stop and fish it with good success. i would long line till i would hit a point and then i would cast. most fish are moving shallow and the fish are being caught around 10 ft or less. blue/ice and lemon lime have been hot. going to hit some different bodies of water this fall plus i like to catch speckle trout and they sure taste good. tight lines JIM.B
I was going to try Meade, but the ramp-line was very congested and no-one was putting-in Cahoon, so I tried there. Did pretty good (not fantastic)--report to follow. I'm looking forward to this weekend.
Hey Jim, I think the school-stripers are calling me just like the speckle trout are calling to you. Chesapeake Bay season rolls in this Thursday. This might be the first year I missed opening night. I am in a real dilemma, because I do not know if I have enough energy to fish at night for stripers, and then go fishing for Crappie in the day!
