    Default lots of fish

Dad couldn't make it today so i ask lead dog to go with me and of course he said heck ya. We went to one of the suffolk lakes and smoked them. We ended up with around 130 and 50 nice ones for the livewell. We had 12 over a pound the biggest was 1lb 4oz. The rest of the keepers were around 3/4's of a pound. Started culling fish around 10:00 and left the lake a little after 12:00 and left them biting. Fish Doc, I think lead dog is catching on to this crappie fishing thing. He smoke them. The fish were in 6' to 14' FOW suspended from 3' to 7'. Color of jig didn't seem to matter but at one time they were smoking the pink and white.

Were you fishing over brush? Trolling, slip float??
Keep some for the pan, let the larger ones go back for another day!

Im not picking on ya but how do you catch fish tightlining 3' with those 20' rods? Do you have to backreel? I only have a 14' boat so I went with 12' rods. I just got tired of putting them all out and back up while moving so ive been honing my casting skills.. but I keep them in my boat at all timee lol
