It was blue skies and 85 today so I won't complain about the SW winds that were gusting to 21mph. I did most my fishing in the wind and waves. I had 40 by noon then the afternoon bite slowed down and I picked up 22 more for 62. My biggest was 14" and weighed 1lb 8oz and was caught on a pearl/chartreuse wasshoppah tipped with a crappie nibble 4' down in water around 7' deep.

This was one of the few crappie that I did not catch casting Kalin's Money jig. I probably got 50 of the 62 casting the Money jig. All crappie were caught 4'-7' down over structure in water 6'-12' deep. If you want to say that a 10" crappie is a keeper then I had at least 45 keepers. Quite a few at 11" but other than my 14"er only a handful at 12". Due to the winds I didn't long line much but when I did I never even got a bite. Water temp was 70-75.
