Thread: Bashes

Lately everytime the subject of having a bash comes up it gets very fustrating for me. Members want to have one but I get very little input as to what, when or where. So I propose to use this thread to create a list of places that will be used on every "where" poll in the future. The bulk of our membership use to reside in SE Va but this is no longer true. We now have more members scattered all over the state and that is great. With that in mind we can have a bash anywhere in the state or even more than 1 on the same day.

For our newbys a bash is just a time for members to get together someplace and meet each other and do some fishing. There is usually a big fish pool which is $5 per person to enter. This is not mandatory to get in. Ideally we would have a bash coordinator to handle all this but no one wants to step up to the plate and take the job.
Meanwhile I need to get some proposals for places to include in the list. I am not familiar with the best places in western or northern Va to include so I need a lot of help with them. I think a total of 10-15 places would be great.

In the meantime I will create a "when" poll for Chick Lake since that is the only place asked for.
