Saturday-Buggs with Bennett, 45 crappie.

fished Friday, Saturday, Sunday an Monday. did best above the bridges at Clarksville. averaged bout 50 a day with bout 20 or so keepers each day. not very many above a pound. I guess the bigguns are still deeper than I'm fishin. but it usually gets better an better the more the water cools down. had a client get a citation fresh water drum yesterday, 7.14 pounds.

I'm am not in their league. The folks that fish that tournament trail are some of the best crappie fishermen in the state not to mention that most of them live fairly close to the lake and have a lot of experience fishing it. I have to drive 150 miles just to get there. I'm happy if I fish there once a month.
