I'll be just wishing. I have to get my son off to Boy Scout camp this weekend. Plus, I put that new 9.9 in the shop to have the carbureator fixed (Weds), and haven't gotten it back yet.

I'm counting on next weekend, though.

Anytime jimb. Nottoway crappie can be hit n miss for me, Blackwater Is hot in the fall. idunno who is doing the work

I have to skip sat. maybe sunday. I went thur. afternoon and did not do very much. Fished from 5 till 8 and only caught 4 (13 inchers). I fished as hard as i could but did not find them. They have moved or had lock jaw. Maybe this rain and cool weather will fire them up again.

Most the forecast I see say rain likely with a chance of thunderstorms after noon. I can quickly get in my car and wait out a thunderstorm if need be. I guess that's one disadvantage of TMO lakes when you're all electric, you can't get off the lake quickly if need be.

I also have the advantage of internet on my phone and can monitor thunderstorms and their movement while on the lake. I have plenty of notice to get off the water.

My son came down and fished with me 2 weekends ago. That phone stuff was way to cool... Radar, weather, tunes, etc!! Before we had even got of water he has posted a vid of a great catch he had ! I let myself get to far behind....( I don't even have texting- my cell- is only a phone!)
