    Default Wb

    14 July
Launch 0730 water temp 82 degrees about a doz trailers parked
I worked the aerators and followed shorelines with not a lot of luck I used jigs tiped w/ minnows.

Landed one flathead maybe 8lbs/ missed another that was undoubtably bigger, I didn't get to see it before it took me under some structure but it swam straight to the bottom to fight I'm assuming another cat.

Also picked up 2 strippers, 1 bluegil, 1 perch, the threat of the storm had me on edge most of the morning after I hear a thunder clap I would bring in all rods and leave one in the water to see if the clouds was going to pass couldn't really get my head in the game however the storm did miss me the clouds rolled away the Sun beamed in I rolled out

Brought home none this trip, maybe next time.

I feel the same way, hard to relax and focus on fishing with thunderstorms in the area. Check your pm's.

Storm on side scan , pretty impressive. Storm looked a lot worst than it really was.
Nice variety of pillage. How big we're the strippers?

Man, that sky is ominous looking--I keep waiting for something to come out of that hole in the clouds!

Idunno the clouds were something to see interesting formations for sure....

It's tough to see from the photo because it was fading but below the circle was a formation of "my pony" LOL
    Couldn't make this up guys...

Doodlium the Strippers were dinks maybe 10 inches both of em, one jumped off at the boat the other was landed, the Gill and perch were also small for there species.
