Fished Thur. afternoon from 5:00 to 8:00 caught 33 with 17 being keepers all 11 to 13 inches. No big ones. All caught 19' deep in 25 to 35 FOW on jigs tipped with minnows. Pink and white was the best color again. Sat. put in at daybreak and left at 10:30 caught 17 with 16 being keepers 10 1/2 to 13 1/2 inches. They started off in 12' of water and ended up in 19' of water by the time we left. Chartruese and white and chartuese and black worked well today.No big ones except for the 7 or 8 pound bass my dad lost beside the boat. He was not hooked very well and when he jumped i knew what was going to happen but just could not do anything about it. He was in 22' of water too.

I'm guessing you live out that way? I can't get myself to leave the lake after only a few hours, of course I'm driving 36-40 miles to get to the Suffolk Lakes.

Yes Tapout i live about 15 minutes from the lakes. If i had to drive that far i would stay all day myself. When i go to Buggs we try to fish from sun up to sundown. That makes for a long day but certian times of the year its worth the ride and the stay.

Papermouth, I live in Zuni. I have been stick fishing deep water structure and tops.. Stick fishing ( one pole at a time and tring to get your bait right into the structure or top).

GETTHE NET, LOOKS like you had good fishing for the time you fish, I am like Tap ,even if I am going close I won't plan on being back very early,if I have something to do early then I just don't go that day because when I get their it is hard to leave,then wife gets mad because I'm late, oh well, they will get over it LOL
