Size:  60.1 KB Caught this 1lb 11oz crappie while fishing Eastland Creek 7/1/12 was 14 in. long, fished brush in 18 too 24 fow, caught 45 all total, with 7 being over 1lb. 4 ozs, cajun cricket was the best color , lot of bait fish in creek, got there at 5:30 left at 9:30, what a way too start July off.

    Sounds like a fun 4 hours. It would seem that I did not give Cajun Cricket enough cast when I was there 11 days ago. It would appear that you know Eastland well. Nice job.

    Had too work each brushpile really hard, only fished 6 different ones, but would go back , kinda would start on one then move on too next until Igot back too the first one, then start over, the bite was 70/30 % with 70% being you had too work jig in &around brush, you could tell most the time by thump you had a nice fish. all fish were C.P.R. Too catch another day.

    Sounds like a real good 4 hours of fishing. Glad to hear that the fish are still in Eastland. I bet your fishing some of the same places me and Tapout fish. Would love to go there and fish but these 100 degree days make it tough to drive that far to fish for 4 or 5 hours. Thanks for the post.

    Not alot of secret brushpiles left in the lake anymore,just try too fish the ones that have been goo too me in the past ,always looking for new ones, was told couple days after fishing there were too look for some brush I did not no about, 99% of the crappie I catch I put back.
