I lost power last night along with internet, TV and phone. First time I lost phone service. Cox just put a generator on the pole and that restored everything except power. Meanwhile the generator is humming along just fine.

We had some serious wind Friday evening. It blew the top out of a Buckeye tree & a big limb out of a Walnut tree in my yard. Neither missed the house by 15 ft. These are both very old & large trees. Good lord was watching over us.
I had skirting blown off ($250) on trailer at river. Sister had 7 trees go down at her house in richmond ( causing power loss and a car wreck) My Daughter called Sunday(yesterday) she was still without power (in Blacksburg)
BUT, my boat did just fine in the boatslip!!
