    Default Wasnt meant to be

this weekend. I tried to go fishing twice and failed both times to get the boat on the water. Have you ever had a weekend where anything that could come up or go wrong, did, at the last possible second? That was this weekend.

I am bummed, I really wanted to catch a few this weekend. I hope you guys all had better luck than me this weekend. Its a good thing I didn't get on the water with the way things were going it may have been disastrous. Next weekend!
no matter what I'm doing, I've got hunting or fishing on my mind...

The past several days have been extremely windy here at the Cheasapeake bay. Hope wind dies down some!! ( and hope you have some better luck this week-and weekend coming up)

Keep your rig ready to go all the time. Sometimes good opportunities come up with short notice, too.

Next weekend will be tough. Everybody who owns a boat will try to get onto the water somewhere. Some will succeed. Others will provide entertainment at the ramp!

I hate not going, and always regret staying home. I always think, Who knows?... I might not get another chance like this. I try to go anyway.

Every time I go, I am always glad I went, and I never regret going.

You know...there ain't no rewind button for that day, and we can't go back and live that day again.

I hate chores and responsibilities too. They seriously get in the way of me doing what I want...like fishing!

I get days like that all the time. It really frustrates the crap out of me too. I make a mental note for the next day as I see nothing pressing on the agenda. As soon as I show up to hook to the boat, Phone rings or someone shows up or Wife calls and says, "What are You doing?" or texts the same or kids text, or something pops up for work. It happens so much now that I think now what would have happened if I had been out on the boat and someone needed me for something? Would have ruined my day. I just don't get out anymore like I used too. I miss it and used to go on a whim. Those days are long gone. Enjoy every minute You get on the water. You never know when You'll get back on.CF
