Finally got my boat back with rebuilt motor . It looks much smaller, and is ALOT quieter than my other 150.. but she will Haul ARCE! @60
Caught 28 crappie and 4 were keepers 2-10" 1-13" 1-14", If you count the one 10" I let flip back over the side while measuring it. all the rest were 6-7" fish, with one 9". Larger Crappie were just starting to hit when I had to leave water.
Other fish were 8- 17"-18" stripers , 2 white perch, and a keeper shellcracker (which I let go right away- because, I was not taking home any fish)

Good report Charlie. Did you catch the crappie shooting docks? Sounds like a fun day. 8 stripers sounds good too. Glad to hear your boat is running good now.

Thanks Roy, I spend most of the day casting a white tripletail jig to docks and brush piles. I do nned to learn how to shoot docks, I may have landed more. They were showing on SI.. every place I tried, I would land 1-2fish then they stopped biting... ( don't understand why the do this)
I did try spider rigging minnows, landed @ 10 around the top of a ceder tree that was just cut and pull out 20' from bank (I could see base of tree on bank) Minnows also landed 3-4 crappie in open water slow trolling.
Stripers were on windy points , casting the white jig and catching them on my UL rod was some kind of fun--talk about a fight!

Yeh, without my boat I felt like a man without his most used appendage! Sounds great Doodlum, LMK I have some time off and enjoying it!
