A little late on the post... My buddy and I hit a private lake near the house Monday... Wind was TERRIBLE and boat control was more of a job than enjoyment but the crappie didn't seem to mind at all. We put in around 8:30 and were off the water by 12:30 (worked 3rd shift the night before)... Water temps were in the mid-60s and we ended the day with 34 total crappie with 16 of them being between 11-13"... Also in the mix were 3 largemouth, 1 bluegill, and my buddy caught this citation toothy critter
The 16 keepers were relocated to my buddies pond.

Love them toothy critters! Sounds like a real good trip in spite of the wind. Sounds like a good relocation program.

I'm Glad to see the wind has finally calmed down today. Hopefully, this is the begining of a new trend.
I sure wish I had a private pond near my house that I could fish. I'm envious.

Sounds like a great time, with a good class of fish. I want to learn how to clean those Pickerel--I tried one once, and it is excellent tasting!
