I never said I was not going to use the ramp but I was hoping for more parking and fishing space as a result of any boycott. I figure folks will reconsider as more good reports and photos come in.

That's a reminder...has CR given up anything big enough to weigh in at Adams? So far this season, the quantity has been there, but no monsters.

with all my griping and complaining i will still use this ramp. riverside charges 7$ for a launch, for 1$ more you dont have to travel farther down rt 60 or go through the neighborhood to the ramp there. also for me the place that i fish is within trolling motor distance from the ramp @ rockahock. i will be looking for other places to fish not so much because of the ramp fee but because of their attitude towards the fishermen who have given their business to the people there in the past [for me 20+years]. to threaten 75$ fee for not paying & having your vehicle towed at your expence is downright absurd and mean spirited. i can only pray that one day the VDGIF will put a ramp close to there and shut down the ramp usage at that place

It's a catch 22....what's a fisherman to do, surly $ is not going to stop us. Is anyone complaining to the local officals, Nope , I ' m to lazy to bother w/ it so I just go on and pay the fee and let um make a buck.
I visit a few ramps that are $10 , so when one is getting $10 the other ramps will follow. Get out you wallet!

The sign really only threatens the people who won't pay. No different that a store calling the law if I shoplift an $8 item. Doesn't bother me. I'm going when I get the chance. At least they have a way to pay now. It was a pain to pull up to that back trailer and search for a way to pay.

    I"m going soon.
